Outdoor survival experts try out the rapid fire firestarters

Recently, outdoor survival expert Jason Hunt of the popular YouTube channel, CampCraft, decided to put the Rapid Fire Firestarters by CleanFlame to the test for starting a simple campfire.

City of Portland Teams up with CleanFlame to Divert WOCC from Landfills

The city of Portland, Oregon recently passed a law banning the disposal of waxed cardboard boxes from going into the city compost program. For grocery stores in the area, this leaves disposing these bales to landfills as the only other option.

Led by one of the leading businesses, New Seasons Market decided to take charge and make it their goal to divert all the perfectly good waxed cardboard boxes from going to landfills for the next 50 years. New Seasons has led a movement, gathering other grocery store leaders like Albertsons, Fred's, and many more.

National fire log company recognized for innovative recycling efforts

On December 13, 2011, The California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) announced recipients of this year's waste reduction awards. CleanFlame was recognized through the Waste Reduction Awards Program (WRAP) for their environmentally friendly business strategies.

The company helps divert the 1.5 million tons of waxed cardboard boxes that go to landfills daily. Cleanflame donates $300,000 to state parks

California State Parks announced Wednesday (June 1) a new partnership with national firelog company CleanFlame, in order to support and promote the state’s 278 parks and campgrounds.

CleanFlame joins the parks’ “Proud Partner” program with a commitment to donate $300,000 of the proceeds from sales of its new Campfire Log during the next three years to help keep California’s state parks open and accessible to the public, according to a news release.

The company’s “S’more Fun in the Forest” campaign launched in May to call attention to this opportunity for consumers to help support critical infrastructure and maintenance projects needed throughout the State Park system.

“We are pleased to partner with CleanFlame to generate revenue for our parks through the sale of their new campfire log. They are a California-based company whose environmentally friendly products will add to the outdoor recreation experience and enjoyment at our 15,000 campsites,” said Brent Reed, deputy director of partnerships and consumer strategies.
